Internal Medicine
The hardest part of being a pet owner is realizing that our pets cannot tell us how they are feeling. As veterinarians it is important that we try to use all of our resources to determine the medical problems facing your pet (preferable before problems arise). We use bloodwork, biopsies, ultrasound and radiographs (x-rays) to find out what is the cause of your pet's illness or to warn us of what may be coming. Our goal is to focus on prevention and/or detection in the early stages of a disease rather than at a later stage or in a critical moment.
