Marina Kinsey, Veterinary Assistant
Marina was born in Kentucky and has lived in various states throughout her life, some of which are Hawaii, Virginia, and Tennessee. She moved to Florida in 2015 and has loved the scenery.
Marina's love for the Veterinarian Sciences has been there since birth and she plans on becoming a veterinarian herself one day. Her first introduction to veterinarian medicine was when she used to volunteer at the Marine Science Center in high school. She says it definitely confirmed the love held for the field at a young age. She remembers volunteering specifically at the Bird Hospital which is where her current love for birds stems from. She loved helping out the injured wildlife - pelicans, owls, hawks - it was all exhilarating.
In her free time, Marina paints and does a lot of art. She also loves to propagate succulents and garden. A fun fact about Marina is that she is double-jointed. She also has the two most perfect cats in the world whom she loves to spend time with: Treelo and Clarice. Marina has a special place in her heart though for exotics, especially ferrets and birds!
