Barbara van Deijck graduated in 1993 from Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, FL with a bachelor's degree in International Business and Management. After graduation, she moved to The Netherlands and worked for a computer distribution company doing business in the Benelux (The Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Belgium).

Having had various other jobs (with a music sound system company and as administrator for three busy restaurants) she decided to, with two chefs, open a restaurant.

When family life took over she was busy raising her two small children, working part-time for the restaurant business, and part-time helping a friend (veterinarian) to set up her financial administration.

In 2005 she moved to Florida with her family and started working together with her husband to achieve their goal to open their own veterinary clinic.

Barbara loves to take a walk with their dog Shanti and Bubba, play with her kids, and volunteer at their school. In her free time, she enjoys going for a run and loves to read. Pets:
