Tanya was born in Elgin, Illinois, and grew up all over the state of Illinois. She moved to Florida in 2009 as she wanted to be closer to her 2 sisters who moved to Florida earlier. She loves Florida so much as she has always loved the water and enjoys going to the beach or boating.

Tanya's love for animals started young and has never frayed. She always had them growing up; typically, it was cats, and only recently did she adopt her first dog, Ringo. She got her love for animals from her mom but it sparked when she was searching for a job after moving to Florida and came across Pet Street. Tanya loved the environment, enjoyed being around the animals, and knew that it was something she would like to pursue. She began working at Pet Street in 2012 and had a leave of absence to take care of her two sons but is so happy to be back doing something she loves with an amazing team!

​Tanya met her husband in 2011 and they got married in 2014. She has two sons whom she adores. They take up most of her time and she loves taking them to go boating or fishing. She also loves cooking new meals or trying out new restaurants with her sisters while they catch up and have a good time. Ultimately Tanya's favorite thing is going on a quiet walk or sitting outside at a restaurant where she can see the beach and relax.
